This describes what actually happens to information you give us. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and the sections marked REPLACE need one.

This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

It is published so the sections still needing legal review are visible rather than missing. Do not rely on it. For contractual terms while this is being finalised, email info@sayl.in and we will send you the current agreement directly.

What this website collects

Two things. First, what you type into an enquiry form: your name, an email address or phone number, optionally your company, and your message, along with the page you submitted from.

Second, first-party visitor analytics: the pages you view, the domain that linked you here, your browser and operating system, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. This is recorded on our own servers and shared with no advertising network. See the cookie page for how to opt out.

There is no advertising or social media tracking on this site, and fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a third party.

What we do with an enquiry

An enquiry becomes a lead record in Sayl, is matched against contacts we already hold so that a repeat enquiry does not create a duplicate, and is assigned to a member of our team to respond to.

We use it to reply to you and to follow up on that conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

Data you hold in the product

If you are a Sayl customer, the contacts, leads, messages and documents in your workspace are yours. We process them to provide the service you have asked for.

REPLACE: the lawful basis relied upon, the controller and processor relationship, retention periods per data category, and the treatment of data belonging to your customers as distinct from your own account data.

Sub-processors

Delivering the product requires third parties — Meta for WhatsApp and social publishing, email infrastructure providers, and hosting.

REPLACE: the complete sub-processor list with the purpose and processing location of each, and how changes to that list are notified.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@sayl.in and we will act on it.

REPLACE: the statutory rights available under applicable law, the response window we commit to, verification requirements, and how to escalate if you are unsatisfied.

Contact

Questions about this policy go to info@sayl.in.

REPLACE: the registered entity name and address, and a named data protection contact where one is required.
